Cake Artist, Theresa grew up on the coastal islands of Georgia. She moved to Coral Gables, FL and  graduated from University of Miami.  Her passion for creating art came from being surrounded and influenced by an innovative and inspiring family, friends, and mentors. After working professionally in the field of research and evaluation, she decided to pursue her dreams in the culinary field by attending Le Cordon Bleu. She fell in love with pastry and focused on cake design.   After completing the culinary program, Theresa went on to work at a prestigious event and design company.  Under the tutelage of the executive chef, Theresa began to master her pastry and cake design skills. This dedication and passion became the driving force behind the creation of The Cake Artistry.  

 

Currently, Theresa is thriving in the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA designing celebrity cakes and customizing cakes for her exceptional clients.
